PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)
- PEO1: To provide knowledge of basic principles of science and Chemical Engineering.
- PEO2: Inculcate the skills of teamwork and leadership in Chemical Engineering practice.
- PEO3: Ability to face challenges while complying with environmental, ethical attitudes towards the society.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (PO)
- PO1: Basic Knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and Chemical Engineering in operation of chemical processes.
- PO2: Discipline Knowledge: An ability to identify, formulate and solve problems in the various domains of Chemical Engineering such as fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer, mechanical operations and process calculations.
- PO3: Experiments and Practice : An ability to recognize a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
- PO4: Engineering Tools: An ability to conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
- PO5: The Engineer and Society: An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for Chemical Engineering practice.
- PO6: Environment and Sustainability: The broad education necessary to understand the impact of Chemical Engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.
